FACTS OF LIFE
============
For hindu's we believe in always seeking answer's when in doubt for we need to be sure that we do not stray from the right path when it comes to religion. These pratices has led us to fondly know own deities very intimately to the level that we call them by different names thus acknowledging them of their supreme form, powers and energy.
However for the Non Believers [i would rather call them confused person] and for the non spiritual people, lack of understanding sometimes tends to confuse them and the questions that they had formed in the minds and heart will go unanswered due to the fact that it is not always easy to throw a question that shows that we have doubts and are scepiticsm due to the unanswered questions that one might have.
To say one has truly understood God - One would have or Must have gone through the trials and tribulances in their life and have come out stronger in will power, stronger in faith and with tolerance to accept whatever life has to offer them and also
Never Ever Question The Gift That Has Been Given or Bestowed To ONE.
Now for most us {it is normal}, whom are currently is any difficult predicament or think is in a difficult predicament in their life, lets us just give a thought for a moment.
Lets Say For a Couple Whom Are Married And Do Not Have Children :
One might say that God has dealt with them harshly to not give them a child to carry on with their life line. To not given them the feeling of joy of raising a child, to not given the woman the joy of being a mother, to not given the woman to feel the joy and pain of giving birth or feeling of carrying a life being in her womb.Every day seeing other couples with their children, would bring them pain and depression feeling and if prolonged would eventually turn into jealously. This One event is leading the couple to have negative feelings or thoughts.
Now lets take a closer look with an open mind :- In Most Cases, this would be due to a medical problem on either one of the couple. In which case, medical help can be seeked and with the current technology that medical has, there are remedies that can help the cause. Most of the time that this sort of remedies are not seeked are due to syndrome of "the fear of what would others think or say" . Now the answer to this would be - others are not the want that wants a child as badly as you!
Or lets say, Doctors have said nope - the is no way that Medical Techology could help them. Let us not forget that Doctor's are not God. Even they have to answer to someone Higher then Them. Instead as seeing this as a bad faith or curse, look at other options of probably adoption. This would in a small way instead of giving full joy of parenthood to the couple but does in a big way solve their problem.
Not having a child could be only one shortcomings in their life. Am sure they would not have given a thought of the Bigger picture in Life.Example - their good health, their happiness as a couple, their closeness to their sibling's and other family members, their jobs, their happiness in traveling, their wisdom, their knowledge, their wealth (however big or small it is) ,having good friends. Now One could say that, they will be more than willing to trade one for the other one but then who or what will stop them of not feeling the same feeling for not having any of the above after they make the trade. Its a Known Fact that Human beings are never ever satisfied with what they have. So if looked closely, i would say that God has already given them more than what he has not given to the Couple.
God has never wanted or intended someone to go through life without some sort of options. There are always options in life but it is to each and every one to take, accept, embrace the option with full faith, open mind and always looking at positive side of each predicament.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT FOR THOSE WHO SAYS THAT THERE ARE IN SOME FORM OF SHORTCOMINGS IN THEIR LIFE! :-
Person without Wealth, with full Happiness and good Health - would say that he/she wants Wealth but then what would he/she trade that with - Good Health? So does this mean he/she wants to be rich and then suffer and die from some sickness.
For a Person without Good Health, with Good Wealth, Good Occupation, and Happiness - would say that the only thing he/she wants in his life is Good Health so he/she could live longer but then what would he/she trade that with - Happiness? So does this mean he/she wants to live longer and die a miserable and unhappy person?
For a Person who has not got Married but with Happiness, Good Health, Good Occupation and Good Wealth - who thinks that being ummarried is somewhat a curse in life - now would he/she trade for being married and be contented of going through life in a rough time due to Improper choice of Partner?
ALWAYS COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS BEFORE QUESTIONING YOUR SHORTCOMINGS!
NOTHING IN LIFE IS PERMANENT NOT EVEN ONE'S LIFE!
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS.
===================
Now not being a Mind Reader, I have created some questions that i do believe that would be in the minds of these people.
Some of the most Famous Question would be:-
1. Why Do Hindus Worship Many Gods?
Human beings through history have formulated many different names and forms for the Divine or Eternal. Just as we have many names and forms for other things, whether it is foods, or types of art, so too, in religion a similar great diversity has been created. As a universal formulation Hinduism accepts all formulations of Truth.
According to the universal view there is only One Reality, but it cannot be limited to a particular name or form. Though Truth is One it is also Universal, not an exclusive formulation. It is an inclusive, not an exclusive Oneness - a spiritual reality of Being - Consciousness - Bliss, which could be called God but which transcends all names.
The different Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism represent various functions of this One Supreme Divinity, and are not separate Gods. Having many names for something is not necessarily a sign of ignorance of its real nature. On the contrary, it may indicate an intimate knowledge of it. The many different deities of Hinduism reflect such an intimate realization of the Divine on various levels.
2. Why Does Hinduism Portray God as a Woman?
Hinduism contains many feminine forms of the Divine like Parvathi, Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswathi. These represent different feminine qualities and functions of the Divine which contains both male and female energies.
For example, Parvathi portrays the destructive and nourshing energy, Lakshmi the generous and wealth energy and Saraswathy the creative and knowledgeable energy, while Durga is the Divine Mother in her protective role.
As a universal tradition (Sanatana Dharmam) Hinduism recognizes that the Divine contains both masculine and feminine attributes. Without giving proper honour to the feminine qualities a religion must be incomplete and one-sided, which must result in its teachings having negative consequences.
Without recognizing the feminine aspect of Divinity one cannot claim to know God. To recognize the feminine is necessary to restore wholeness, completeness and universality.
Its is also a known fact for Hindu’s that truly one and only God – The Supreme Divine is a Female Energy know as Athi Parasakthi.
3. Why do Hindu Deities has so many arms?
Image worship has always been the practice of the hindu’s since the beginning of time. It was not only sanctioned in the religious scriptures but the images themselves thus the rituals for their worships were also described in greater and finer details.
Showing them with several arms solved the visual problem that created for the sculptor or artist. Each hand would hold some object, which would symbolize or represent the various qualities of that particular deity.
Some of the hands would be empty (very rare) but the position of the fingers and the palms would signify the character of that God.
For example: if the fingers are pointing down towards the ground, it means the god is of a charitable disposition whereas if the fingers were pointed upwards as in blessing signifies a protector. These gestures symbolize their individual powers and differentiate them from other deities.
4. Why is Cow Considered Sacred For Hindu's?
For Hindu's, the sacredness of the Cow is a central and crucial element in Hindu belief. Cow is a living symbol of Mother Earth. This means that Cow provides one with almost everything one needs in life, just as Mother Earth. Cow forms an indispensable member of a family. Cows provided them with milk.
From Milk other forms of by products are made to enrich life. Such as Butter are made from milk, oil are made from butter, from oil - fires are kept alive, cows dung are used as manure for the fields.
Hindu's in either a private worship or major prayers, fire (Agni) plays a biggest role. However for fire to play that role, we would need oil from which is made from melting the butter which is made from the milk that the Cow provides. Offerings made to God's are usually products that are made from milk. Such as puddings, curds, honey, milk and sweets.
Thus, for all these variety products are made from one animals produce, it is so deemed that this animal be declared sacred.
